“Wingman’s Wingman! King of Shaves takes 24% in Wingman Products Ltd, part of BBC2′s Britain’s Next Big Thing”
Wingman is pleased to announce a breaking deal with the legendary King of Shaves brand, who have secured a 24% stake in WPL to accelerate the brand’s growth in male toiletries and other areas.
The deal came about when I contacted Will King (CEO & Founder) of King of Shaves brand during the course of the BBC programme. I am thoroughly excited to be working with Will King and his team to develop my vision & dream. With my feet firmly on the ground, it’s time to take on the big corporates…gulp! 
Will King released his own words on the deal:
“You may have been one of the million viewers who were following the progress of a number of individuals on BBC2 recently on the TV show Britain’s Next Big Thing presented by Dragon’s Den star, Theo Paphitis. One of these was 24 year old Stu Jolley, who came up with an idea for Wingman - a men’s ‘wash on the go’ wipe, which he got successfully listed in over 250 Boots stores nation-wide. Stu had beat off strong competition to not only get onto the TV show, but to actually get his product listed by one of the UK’s best known retailers.
Earlier this year, we met up, and realised that with Stu’s Wingman brand, he genuinely had a fantastic opportunity to create a substantial brand, not just in the hyper-competitive world of men’s grooming, but in many other areas too. I was so impressed with his achievements – they reminded me acutely of what I’d gone through with King of Shaves in the the early 1990′s – that I was able to secure a 24% investment in Wingman Products Ltd., Stu’s company.
Over the past few months, I’ve been acting as Wingman’s Wingman, as we evolve the range into a number of different areas, with not just a national outlook, but an international outlook.
I’m delighted to be Stu- Maverick’s – Wingman, and hope that all I and my team have learned in the past 18 years can position his brand on the runway, get the afterburners lit and send his sales & brand soaring into the stratosphere. Stu’s feet are firmly on the ground, but his face is looking into outer space.

The era of chrome-and-billet choppers is drawing to a close. Even Harley-Davidson dealers are swapping the leather tassels for carbon fiber and murder-black paintjobs. In the UK, a south coast dealer called Shaw Speed and Custom is setting the pace, creating show bikes that win at the world’s top custom motorcycle shows—and beating the Americans at their own game.
In the build-up to the AMD World Championship held at Sturgis, the latest two bikes from SS&C are creating a stir. The ‘Nascafe’ is a low-slung, dragster-influenced machine created in association with the American watch manufacturer Bell & Ross. Embedded in the tank is a $4,000 BR 01 Carbon timepiece, a further touch of originality.
The XLST3 is another radical departure from the norm. Dirt-track tires and race plates give the bike a sporty look rarely seen on Harleys, and the stock suspension has been replaced by high-performance items more commonly seen on superbikes.
Harley-Davidson is taking note too, with a new ‘Dark Custom’ range designed to attract younger, more style-conscious bikers.
