We first met up with Joe at Lee Valley, the brand new Olympic Course for London 2012 (apparently the best man made rapid course in the world, well worth a visit!). Joe gave us a quick background to the sport and why he uses Wingman:
‘Canoe Slalom is an extreme sport & requires concentration, precision, strength & flexibility to negotiate a sequence of gates on fast white water, it really is an exciting sport to watch! I have been using Wingman after races and during competitions. There is not always time to shower between cutting it on the river and some monster sessions in the gym…Wingman has got my back, no matter what!’
