Wingman at Download Festival

In at the deep end, at Download.

Just like the beer flowing at this summer’s festivals, Wingman refuses to do things by half measures. We would have been forgiven for debuting Wingman Dry Shower’s at a lower key affair but what better way to kick off the summer than at the ‘spiritual home of Rock’, Donnington Park, Leicester, for Download festival?

It promises to be the most unpredictable 3 days with the only thing you can count on is it’s going to be loud, it’s going to be mental and most of all, it’s going to be messy!! Actually one more thing to count on, the shower queues will be as long as the weekend. That’s where we come in… The Dry Shower experience; 2 large deodorising wipes, a bottle of Dry shampoo and the option to buy reserves so in the midst of the chaos you’re only a packet tear away from fresh.

Here is a preview of the Headline Acts.

Electronic Rock/Dance band The Prodigy headline the opening night as we will all roll back the years to hear such classics as ‘Fire Starter’ and ‘Smack My Bitch Up’ and then get a chance to hear what the band are calling a ‘fresh but darker’ sound with tracks from their forthcoming album How To Steal A Jet Fighter.

Saturday night is headlined by the amazing Metallica as they play their untitled ‘Black album’ in its entirety.  With classic tracks such as Sandman and Nothing Else Matters the ‘Black Album’ is going to make Saturday an unforgettable night!

And if you thought it might calm down a bit by Sunday then think again. Sunday is headlined by Heavy Metal legends Black Sabbath. Having reformed, Black Sabbath are now Rocking into their Seventh Decade! And it seems they’re as enthusiastic as ever. I think it might just end as it started…with a bang!

3 Days of Non-stop Rock, Non-Stop Carnage and Non Stop Mosh!

It’s safe to say, you’re going to need your Wingman!
